those lazy, hazy, crazy days of summer

summer is over.. not officially, but the days are getting shorter. it's getting cooler and rain is coming.

summer this year feels like it went by too fast. i know i say that every year about everything, but this season especially. we've had great weather. this is one of the best summers that i can remember that it didn't rain a lot. and it was even a nice change when it did. it was too hot at times that you couldn't even do anything. couldn't even have lazy sundays.

so what's different this year from last? am i a different person? for better or for worse?

i feel like i have taken a step back, a leap backwards even. and i am not too happy about that.

season's change. and so should i. what do i want different this time?
